I read that book, too. When I read that the white guy in poor health didn't want affordable, quality healthcare because he didn't want Mexicans (all Latinos are Mexicans to fools like him) & Black ppl to have access to it, too, I was so angry. White supremacy/whiteness is so self-destructive!

Same here and then even when they saw how the policies negatively affected them, they acknowledged that they were harmed by the policies but would not be voting for better. That’s when I threw my hands up
