Nice write up. However, ironic that the title is "Out of the darkness" as the remasters are so damn dark on the PS4, I find myself having to click to the 'pre-mastered' version a lot to be able to see where I am going.

I'm not surprised, covers up some of the less impressive areas. It was what they did with the monsters on Buffy too from memory, wasn't it.

Really great read. But I do wonder about who's to blame for AOD. It was definitely rushed to make it's release date. It's always been the "what if" of if they had another year.

The remaster team got nearly a year & are human & did as much as possible. My takeaway then is Core needed like 6 years..
