i also remember when 16 first released people were doing that thing of talking about it "underperforming in sales" like that was genuinely reflective of its quality in any way. i think 16 has a lot of real flaws, but that game is a blast regardless! and it's SO final fantasy at a lot of points

I spent damn near a decade tracking down a copy of Lost Odyssey for myself and it was the best purchase I've ever made. I cannot wait to play Fantasian when it comes to Switch. And while I really didn't like 16, there's a lot to like there. Where I'm weird is I really dislike 9.
