Whenever I hear people say, "Good Republicans in Congress will oppose him if he tries something inhumane and unlawful," I wonder if they've been in a coma for the last decade and just woke up.

I just said in my role as Shouter at TV, they must not have been watching the last 10 years if they’re genuinely shocked about the Matt Gaetz nomination.
The Republicans in Congress are no good! They have all allowed this to happen. If they had an ounce of good left in them, they would have had some balls when it counted and spoke out against tRump before the election like so many other good Republicans did! I don’t trust any one of them…💙
They’re all scared shit that he’ll ruin their careers, or worse. He has absolute immunity to do whatever tf he wants and they don’t have the money to hire security guards. I can’t believe I just wrote this. How is this happening??
I truly believe, no matter what date after 1/2016 is picked, that party should not be called The Republican Party. It's the MAGA Party, from then forward. Perhaps, when our children are dead, an actual semblance of a Republican Party might form again. No great loss. Clearly.
I was out running errands in Chapel Hill. There are still some political signs out. Saw one that said Republicans take back your party. Do not vote for tRump!
Guess that sign should have been placed farther west in the state!
So you’ve met my mother. This is the giant argument we had last week. “People in Congress will step up…” WHO, Mom?? My senators— Graham and Scott? Ha. There is no GOP member with courage.
Seriously, where are these good Republicans they speak of?
Are they talking about the ones who refused to impeach trump despite butt loads of evidence against him?
Maybe the ones who reject opportunities to support legislation that would benefit the non-wealthy, over and over? Those?
Still looking…
No, they won't wake up. They had their chance with the impeachments, the stealing of the federal documents, and J6 - and they didn't stand up to the tyranny. They are all complicit.
John, you have also got to wonder if American “Christians” can name the 5 basic principles of Christianity taught by Jesus Christ and practiced by Jimmy Carter. Here is the list of JC’s five tenets: peace, love, forgiveness, compassion, and tolerance. Simple enough, right? ✝️⛪️🇺🇸🚨
Take a look at the vote on the Republican border bill. That will tell you who's good in the house of representatives. The trump ones voted against their own bill. Or how they voted against getting formula in the country for babies. Or holding gas, oil corporations accountable for price gouging.
It’s really time people start to use new vocabulary when it comes to the current Republican party. Red Republicans… for the loss we all feel for being cut off at the knees, stabbed in the heart.
Delegating the results of their shitty vote on a wing and a prayer. Tells me if they are Republican they knew he shouldn’t be there but voted for him anyway. Enraging
They haven’t been in a coma, they’ve been lying to protect themselves from trump. They are now trapped in a prison of trumps making. Poor, wicked, little cowards. Karma comes around again. But, now they will encase us in the shroud of their evil. Courage is needed for our values to prevail.
you're being kind. Watergate was tiddlywinks compared to 🍊's crimes and just look at how Republican lawmakers behaved then as compared to now. It's mind blowing 🤯
"Good Republicans" would have done this in his first term.
Rather than doing so, they chose to support him in an effort to remain in power. Had enough of them not done this, they would probably still be in power w/out the nightmare that he now brings.
There are few to none left. They are like the German conservatives who after Hitler’s appointment as Chancellor willing shut down their parties and joined the Nazis.
A few today spoke out against his cabinet picks. Then he was talking about being in office past 4 years. He created a department for Elmo that doesn't exist, which he doesn't have the power to do, only congress does. He's trying to take power away from congress so maybe they will step up against him

Too close to call, really.

Just watch...
Good Republicans stood up and opposed him after J6. — We know who they are, and most are no longer in Congress.
These people am who dimly believe it’ll all just be ones are in for some serious shocks.
They all seem to be under the spell

These Republicans can not wait to fully serve their tRump.
