MAGA is simply a consequence. The direct result of weak, compromised and corrupt leadership.
If lawmakers can turn a blind eye to facts and if the Supreme Court can legitimize authoritarian rule and unfettered political contributions by dark entities, then why do you expect MAGA to be saints.

In 2024 dozens of people I know and respect became Trump supporters who voted for Hillary and Biden. The things they say are outrageous and insane but many of them are lifelong democrats.

So I have to question the media, democratic policies and the state of America because the insanity is winning.

I agree in principle: We *should* shame the MAGA cult, b/c that’s how people can know what words & deeds are socially unacceptable. It’s the counterbalance to untrammelled freedom of speech, unenforceable by law. My only objection is that it doesn’t work; they’re immune to shaming, just as he is.
