The same Christians who shunned me for reminding them that Jesus wasn't white, American, or Christian—have become hateful white nationalists in the name of that Jesus.
It has been tragic but illuminating.

also, i live your books.
The new Jesus is white, American, has a gun & sells blessings on cable tv. He builds billion dollar temples to himself
In downtown LA. He lays hands on Trump and speaks in tongues in the Oval Office. You can buy a prayer cloth, and once you pay it off, you can buy another one
The entire thing.
Repent. Preach Christ. Not color. Not country. Not grievance. Just Christ.

“Love your enemies.” (Matthew 5:44)
“Repent and believe.” (Mark 1:15)
“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself.” (Luke 9:23)
Jesus isn’t defined by race or region.
He’s the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8), the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 22:13), the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
He was Jewish, born in Bethlehem, crucified under Roman occupation, and risen as King of Kings, not mascot of your bitterness.
But He wouldn’t be a rainbow flag progressive savior either.
He’s the King of kings—not your campaign slogan.

PS the only “campaign” we got going here is for empathy & compassion for ALL. Pretty standard teachings.
He ran head-on into the wrath of God—to rescue people from hell,
not from capitalism, conservatism, or American elections.
Look, we’re called to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13–16), to make disciples, to love God and neighbor.
But New Jerusalem isn’t built by human hands.
It descends from Heaven (Revelation 21:2).
You don’t build it.
You belong to it—if you’re redeemed.
They were being faithful while passing through—as strangers and pilgrims (Hebrews 11:13).
Beautiful moment. Early church.
But also… they were persecuted, broke, and still waiting on Jesus to come back.
It’s about Jesus restoring what was lost—and that only happens when He returns in power, not when we set up social clubs with free hugs and drum circles.
That’s not a utopia we build—
It’s a Messianic prophecy of what He will bring.
We were born into a broken system because we rebelled against God in Eden—and we’ve been face-planting ever since.
• Romans 5:12 – “Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.”
• Psalm 51:5 – “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”
Let’s break it down:
He didn’t die to escape the world.
He died to redeem it.

But before He climbed the cross, He walked the streets.
And He made it very clear what kind of kingdom He was ushering in—and it flipped the world upside down.
“Whatever you did for the least of these… you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
“Woe to you, teachers of the law… you tithe mint and dill but neglect justice, mercy, and faithfulness.” (Matthew 23:23)
He came to die for sin, call it out, and call us out of it (John 3:19–21).
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17)
“Go and sin no more.” (John 8:11)
“If the world hates you, keep in mind it hated me first.” (John 15:18)
would not bomb civilians (obviously),
and would call us to care for the poor (Matthew 25:35).
Cosplay Christianity.
Says the guy whose Jesus wears a pride sash and votes by mail.
You’re not mad they “cosplay”—you’re mad they don’t cosign your idols.
