The underfunding of public education, and the diversion of funds into the two failing private systems, has driven property taxes skyrocketing throughout the state.

The quality of your education should not be a lottery based on your ZIP code. Children do not have a choice about where they are born. ALL CHILDREN should get a quality education.
The answer is simple, only allow accreditation of public schools for STEM classes. Let them bus to rich kid schools for electives.
- Parents are willing to pay more to live where their kids can get quality education
- increase likelihood that locals can get employed
=> access to jobs decrease crime rates
=> more local employment helps economy
Otherwise, continue downward trajectory
