There they all go again, hiding behind the little crosses hanging around their necks to justify bowing down to a golden idol.
To the respondent’s point, religion is political (and politics is religious, in that it is a collective praxis of a shared vision of the ultimate good). Yet people only accuse religion of being political (or, rather, notice) when it violates their particular politics.
