I don't know how to tell you this, but money IS finite. As the rich have gotten richer, the poor have gotten poorer. Almost like there are only so many bananas, and as some monkeys get more, others must go without. You can clearly see this on charts that show wealth distribution as a % of the whole
Money is finite. If it wasn't it would have no value. See; every country that has ever attempted to print lots of money all at once.
You're probably thinking of value. There's no actual limit on value because that is whatever we collectively decide it is. That is what the Rich exploit.
Your reply made it seem like those who are poor, those without bananas, can simply go find more. Sometimes they are trying to and they just can’t. That reference made it sound like you think those who have no bananas are lazy. Hence my response.
it's not that they don't work hard it's that when any do get out how many you see lend a hand people would rather demand someone be forced to pay them out rather than forming social circles together to elevate each other up it's a lack of community
If those in poor neighborhood got together and worked together they could uplift eachother but they won't it's not just hard work that can elevate it's also connections and working smart it's "Pick yourself up by the bootstraps and work with others doing the same"
which part also gonna say this considering my area has an issue with fake homeless you can't really give your money to them any charity for the homeless takes like 80% of the money you give to the homeless so how do we solve this without shaming people into helping those who seem less fortunate
That is funny!
Thomas Sowell has a book, Basic Economics.
He doesn't use the word 'depreciation' a single time.
Karl Marx used the word 'depreciation' 35 times in the first two volumes of Das Kapital.

If you want to live in a space of scarcity, feel free. Most of us prefer to work to create abundance everywhere. And yes, that's for all people.
Economists do not mention the Net Domestic Product equation from which said depreciation is missing.

Then blame baby monkeys for the fact that their parents didn't have enough bananas to save some to give baby a head start on life
And yes, it is a choice. Your mindset doesn't magically fix everything, but it matters more than I think you realize. 🙏
Sail on captain of the USS Victimhood. Fair seas.
Most people in poverty aren't there by choice. They were born into it.
The pathways in education they have access to are less of lower quality and funding.

Far too often a victim mentality and scarcity mindset are not helpful. Many of us are our own worst enemy. Peace.
My assessment of what you said seems to be accurate based on your reply.
Stay there.
I think you're replying to a post where someone said, "People in poverty are lazy and don't work hard enough."
That wasn't me.
Something they have no control over....
We wouldn't have a problem. No generational wealth? You have to work harder for fewer opportunities.
You stop blaming poor kids for the economic status they were born into.
You don't give them access to fewer opportunities because of it.
You don't vilify them for being born poor.
You don't make poverty their fault.
