Uh oh, I also thought they did a bad job with the episode with the New Yorker profile. (I love the show but when it veered into territory I had some knowledge of it had so many false notes)

Yes, it's disappointing when you have come to expect better! The combination of stuff they actually looked up (e.g. what people say just before Communion) and didn't (what the priest should be wearing, should the people be sitting or standing, why is there a Mass happening?) was really disorienting.
