Player trading is very much a gamble. You might sell your star player for £100’s m but there’s no guarantee that the investment will be successful. Credit to Brighton they understand their market & have been successful. Be interesting to see if they push the boat out for players

That's just the reality of modern day PL football. Brighton are in the lower half of the PL in terms of their wage bill but are a top half club on the pitch.

Agree its the reality of modern football but to say Brighton is very well ran is a bit disingenuous IMO. Walking a fine line. Couple bad season/ bad buys then it will look totally different. That just doesn’t apply to Brighton but virtually every club

Of course. I think until then though it's fair to say that the football operation side of Brighton is being run well. They make profit. They punch above their weight on the wage bill front and as soon as manager leaves they replace them with one who has a similar philosophy with no hiccups.
