As I'm new here I'm not sure whether being honest about mental health, mental illness, autism & ADHD would be welcomed here. Maybe put a like on this if it either doesn't bother you or you'd find it helpful/might make you feel less alone with things you struggle with.

Don't underestimate the importance of your openness.x
From what I've seen people here are very positive and open about this sort of thing, which I personally find refreshing.
Personally, I think it's important stuff to talk about.
“What would an Addams do!?”
Be accommodating and welcoming and affirming, that’s what.
Be kind to yourself

Welcome!
Hugs in solidarity.🤗🥰🤗
Hope Annie is snuggled with you tonight.🐾🥰🐾
but for me coming here isn't about escapism & positivity
Personally I'd rather engage with serious posts here than on the other place now
I just want more genuine communication & kindness
and less fake followers
In my LJ days we used to say 'Don't like it, you know where the Back button is'. Here it's the Unfollow button, but same attitude.
Of course, you could choose to use a hashtag and people can then mute that - a really cool BlueSky option is to just click a hashtag and at the bottom of the 3 item list is 'Mute X'. That way they can get your other posts, but skip the stuff they don't want.
