We've not been to the Dungeness ones yet. But got to Hythe in the summer where we found a spot out of the wind to record the sound of the grass.

Well worth a visit. Admit to gaining access by "wading" across the water by the bridge many moons ago. It was boot lace deep. No idea what it's like now.

Congratulations! We went to Dungeness in the summer, and failed to find them - I assume they’re *somewhere* behind that housing estate, but couldn’t find the right path.

Sincere apologies for another random rabbit-hole, but your hubby doesn't by any wild chance know anything about the construction of the Belfast air-raid shelters does he? My dad told me as a kid that his dad's dad built them, but I've never been able to find out much about that side of the family.
