I grow spring flowers on my garden steps as I can see them from my sofa & the sight helps my brain on tough days. The sight of Steve the blackbird visiting the bird café helps too (songthrush tweeting away in the background):

I love your garden steps... they are full of joyful fascinating things to look at... and make you want to go closer... and start picking things up... and examining them closer...
Reading your posts about the actual, proven benefits of spending time in nature has made me much more aware now of what I’m seeing, even if it’s mostly an appreciation of the varying greens of grass, trees, etc, as well as wildlife, sky, and plant and flower life. So thank you for that.
Yep!
Gwen comes yelling for mealworms, Gordon usually just whistles or burbles softly. This morning I leaned out of the window to throw him some & his head was already cocked to look up at me, his stance eager and hopeful.
I'm seriously going to miss them when I have to move in a couple of months.
