Oh yes! I’m actually impressed by the live action series. It looks so silly but I appreciate the dedication. Last time I was in Italy (2015) they were airing reruns of the anime.

It was huge in Italy when I was a kid, and Licia was played by Cristina D’Avena, who sung all the opening themes of every cartoon in the 90s and early 2000s
