I've been finding the narrative around the GST holiday fixing a "vibecession" incredibly offensive. It feels like our governments, economists and academics are gaslighting us when they say it's just perception.

I think the explanation of “vibecession” was far more justifiable in the US which had a much lower unemployment rate, higher GDP growth/capita and lower housing prices compared to Canada. Again on average.
