The Morning Monty is happy to note that the low-lying clouds have cleared out already - and the sun back (for now)

When I say “low-lying clouds” I mean this was the view of the next ridge over from the end of my street, when I was walking the dogs.

What a lovely view

Is that east? We had fog over the lake earlier this morning, not uncommon this time of year. There are days when Mercer Island disappears.

Today it’s pretty nice, if cold - and the fog/clouds are burning off nicely (see most recent pic)

We’re warmer than it has been in days, but we’ll be cold for the rest of the week. Honestly, the gloom makes me feel like I’m in Seattle.

He’s such a little model!

This cat is different from other cats.

He looks so soft, yet it is a trap and I must resist

He loves to receive petting and cuddles; just don’t go for the tummy.
