I agree, I would lose a lot if they turned it off. I own a small bakery on Long Island. But I would take the hit if it means we get him out of the white house or just leave Canada alone.

So NYers will see a spike of 25% in electric bills. That would mean my $81 dollar bill this month would have been $101. My bills in hot months will be $40 more. Well- that’s a chunk of discretionary spending for sure. Americans will be switching from Amazon to Temu.

Yeah I pay over 11k in taxes on long island for a small house on a 1/3 acre. My friend is living in North Carolina pays 2k for 5 acres and a huge house. Tell me why I'm still here in NY? 🤣😩😛

I am trying to figure out where to go. But would have to figure out a new career. Have friends in Nashville. Though it’s a Red State. I am also looking into Croatian citizenship. I still LOVE NYC. But not a great place to age out if you aren’t loaded! I am here for now!
