we all know that so many of the "MAGA true believers" do not know and/or do not believe all they're seeing about things getting shut down & many fired from important positions that protect or serve all Americans - only when it's too late as you said, will they care!
I disagree about them not knowing. I watch them on Reddit and irl. Many know, but are still more interested in "owning the libs" than admitting consequences on their own lives.
Then again, the younger white males aren't worried about choice, Medicaid, Medicare, DEI, retirement, privacy, etc.

They aren't really feeling it here in my "big red" state yet. Still walking around like proud peacocks ready to call ICE &hoping they'll get an app so they can call someone to turn in the LGBTQ ppl they get their coffee from.🙄😡
