The $5 bonus is no longer active, BUT, drivers like me that actually care really do enjoy the little morale boost we get when receiving the thank yous themselves, or any of the compliments, really. They can make a dreary day a little bit brighter.

Not bloody likely. Our last delivery, the driver's comment said that he "left it near the front door or porch". He lied. He left it 60 feet from the house out at the foot of the driveway next to the road.

He might as well have hung a "steal me" sign on it. If I hadn't gone out in the dark and rain with a flash light, our stuff that we paid for would be ruined or gone.

That's unfortunate and definitely goes against what we're supposed to do. Did you report him? Those "thumbs down" things in the ratings actually do add up and have an effect on the driver's standings.
