1968. #OTD Austrian racer Karl Wendlinger was born in Kufstein. He competed in 42 races between 1991 and 1995 for Leyton House, March, and Sauber. While results were inconsistent, he finished fourth three times. After leaving F1, he found greater success in sports car and GT racing.
