A vampire, or elf's, sense of time would *have* to be stretched. Casual plans made on the scale of years and decades, not minutes and hours.

Which means they almost certainly would have hobbies that are *excruciatingly boring* to most mortals.

Vampires would, when starting out, find the hobbies of older vampires just as boring. As they age, and their sense of time shifts, they'd find those hobbies more and more entertaining

Vampires could *not* be suave and charming to mortals they notice flitting about.

They'd spend 12 hours talking at you nonstop about something that looks about as much fun as watching paint dry.

This is also why I would think that vampires would have to have some kind of mechanism for not having to sleep every day. A day would go by in a blink. It would be maddening

I sometimes think about Barry Allen going into super speed mode but not actually moving around, just using the stretched out time to think things through in great detail.

There's a different speedster in another comic universe who is *always* in superspeed, and has to consciously move normally. He suffers incredible depression from this. Every conversation takes months from his point of view, etc.
