Now Trump has opened dams holding Summer drought water for California farmers, and closed USAID, who were huge buyers of US crops to be dent abroad as soft power and humanitarian aid. (aid that farmers were PAID FOR, by USAID.). All in all, Trump is very much NOT your friend, US farmers. (2 of 2)

It may not mean much, but Sen. Boozman (Arkansas) is the head of the agri committee. He fully understands everything and walks that fine line between appeasing Trump and ensuring American Farmers are cared for.

The dude could be president if he had any balls to stand up to Trump.

He also gave Elon carte Blanche to illegally shut down USAID which until this week’s shutdown US farmers “suppl[ied] about 41 percent of the food aid that the agency, working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture sends around the world each year.”

I’m hearing rumblings from Trumpers in the farmland. So far they are objecting to Musk having access to SS and Medicare. Just wait until nobody shows up to harvest the crops b cause they are afraid of being deported. Real pain will hit them first.
