It’s midnight and it’s still tense. All 343 ridings (seats) are reporting and numbers are shifting. A lib government, but between the Libs and the Cons it’s 161 seats to 150 with the third party next, the BQ at 23. It’s unfortunate, good to have a majority but if not, a strong third party is good.

It’s now Libs 165 to cons 147. Libs would have to get to 173 for a majority. Most importantly for many, is to keep Libs in power and with Carney. He’s a very smart economist.

166 Liberals, 146 Conservatives, however, CBC is not yet willing to call minority or majority government. ( looks like a minority) Advanced voting in this election was 7.3 million people. It is the discretion of the polling offices whether to count the advance votes before, or after regular voting.

It's projected but not certain yet. I'd say hold your breath, but it might be tomorrow before we get results on the 91-candidate riding, for example...

Too close for comfort, but yeah, and all-told it still wasn’t the sh*tshow of insanity like south of the border so I’ll take it. Maybe everyone can settle and we can get to work.

Also it still could be a Lib majority. Holy heck those margins are SLIM in some ridings.
