I agree as far as on location shooting that this is stupid, but whole productions being shot on soundstages in the uk instead of in LA to avoid paying living wages to the crew needs to be figured out.
How about foreign films… can foreign films be shot abroad without being hit with a %100 tariff if they try to show in the biggest market where their budget has probably been greenlit based on US pre-sales?
Foreign films should absolutely be exempt from any of this, that’s where this whole thing gets even more stupid. What is needed is either an incentive or a punishment for big American companies shooting their movies on soundstages and backlots in other countries so they can line their pockets.

Sadly it wasn't dubbed in France by the legendary Carel but by Belgian Sébastien Hébrant. So I guess it was a UK, France and Canada co-production that resulted in two different dubbing versions in french?
