So crazy that you never heard that song. I love many bands and artists. But for me, The Who has always been in the top two or three. Every member was top notch at their instrument, including voice. And Townshend's ability as a songwriter is unmatched. Also elite level rhythm guitarist.

The Who and Led Zeppelin have impacted my music life the most. Townshend's rhythm playing, Page's lead ability, Entwistle's bass histrionics. I could go on for hours talking about these guys. Here's another one you might have missed from The Who's early days.

Glad you dug it. They have such an expansive catalog, it's hard to find a miss. The Who were a three-piece, with Townshend covering rhythm parts in concert. Entwistle--one of my bass idols--had such amazing chops that he'd do lots of the leads. He never liked the song live as he was stuck on A.

Never heard, you're right. I'm out the door and again, listening later. I saw the Led Zeppelin...forgot to mention. Absolutely great...says the guy who didn't like the Dylan movie. Documentary...with help of band...best way to go maybe. And again, Reign On Me...songs don't get much better

I'm in the middle of some personal stuff so have not made time for the movie. Love hearing that you enjoyed it. Can't wait to see the flick. My son said it was off the charts great. Only disappointment he said was that it ended abruptly. He wanted more.
