This move to lower education standards began post Vietnam. Imagine throwing a war and having the invitation to attend declined by so many young men. It was no mistake that funding for education grew scarce.

1)It's not unregulated social media, it's the fact that neoliberal government keep creating these public-private partnerships that are extracting wealth from poor people making them poorer. The individual mandate, for example is still in effect in California. $900 penalty if you don't buy insurance

There should be a penalty for people who do not have health insurance. The rest of us pay for them.

(2) I have VA Healthcare which is essential Medicare and i am in my 30s. It is free at the point of service. I don't have insurance through my work besides dental and vision. This system is way more economically efficient and will cost the tax payers less money.

This is fascinating. I wonder if the same could be implemented here. Take kids to reservations is the only equivalent I can think of that might show people the impact we've had.

But some places in the South are still proud of the Confederacy, which causes a rough divide and barrier to cross.

Yeah, FOR NOW, but that's about to change. look at the polls in Germany, one of the most right wing forms of the CDU is on track to sweep, followed by the fucking AFD, and every single remotely leftist or centrist party is left in the mud. This is not a problem limited to america, this is worldwide
