Read that again! Excess fats clog up the insulin receptors in the muscle cells. This stops the insulin you already make from getting into the cells and therefore raises bloodsugars.
I gave up red meat and got T2 diabetes by age 20. You are correct that it is the fat but it is also the fructose jammed into everything. The affects of both are just as pronounced in a plant diet due to what they use to make "vegan" food taste good. Red meat just had it directly.
Please be real. Excess fat can lead to insulin resistance & put you at risk of T2 diabetes. But not all ppl with T2 diabetes are fat. It's a risk factor, not necessarily a cause.
We don't need to spread misinformation from RFK Jr's School of Health.
You claimed excess fats are the only cause of T2 diabetes with no actual scientific basis for making this claim. Again, it is considered a risk factor. There are many risk factors. There are also genetic predispositions that might lead to T2.
It is not wrong to tell people to be mindful of the health risks of excess fat intake. It is wrong to omit all the rest of known science to make a manipulated claim.

And why did you make up a myth that T2 diabetes is caused by sugar?
Obesity increases risk, as does heredity so anything you eat that makes you accumulate fat increases risk.
A vegetarian that eats too much bread is a good example of you misinformation.
