If you go to the eShop and search for “RPG Maker WITH”, you should be able to download a demo of it. Inside the app itself, go to the Maker Plaza and search for Bartha, and then you can download and start playing!

I also updated the game to Version 1.1, adding in another bookshelf to the Library at the beginning of the game and increased the number of Equipment Skills found on armor.

This is the first time I've played a game with RPG Maker. Do I have to do anything to get the update since I already downloaded the game, or does it go through automatically?

Okay so BASED ON MY RESEARCH (there is remarkably little documentation on how the upload/download works) the only recourse is to redownload the game. OVERWRITING THE GAME WILL ALSO ERASE ANY SAVED DATA (which seems like a HUGE flaw but it is unfortunately out of my hands).

If you’re already pretty far into it, there isn’t any difference in content (the skills aren’t very impactful and the game is fully completable without them) so you shouldn’t feel pressured to restart over it.
