I’d appreciate it if tech writers use fewer words like "easy," "simple," and "straightforward." These terms provide no real information and can only make readers feel stupid when something doesn’t seem as easy as claimed

this is one of the things I point out regularly on accessibility audits 🥴 there are so many little words and phrases that we throw around casually without realizing that they're hurtful or frustrating to others, even if that's not our intention
