TO BE FAIR. A lot of people take the flu shot just fine! I am not one of those and generally feel like I have the flu for a day or so.

Add a Covid booster to that and I doomed myself xDD

I hate it so much. But pulmonary illnesses knock the absolute tar out of me so I don't mess around with that shit. I've gotten COVID thrice, and two of them I was out of commission for days.

Absolutely agree, it's better to have a day or two of feeling like ass over a week or more of feeling at death's door. With the added benefit that the people around me are safer too!

Oh man, when I got both recently-ish, it was SO ROUGH. I don't know if it was the flu side or the Covid side, but I was just... sick as a dog and exhausted and sore for a day.

Worth it, but still. Oof.
