This was a required course for the TV students, and not all of them were writers. The course was designed to give them basic storytelling competencies; that was it. So if they could pit a protagonist with a goal against an antagonist with a goal, I was happy.

She loved the course, I made her want to be a writer, she finally knew what she wanted to do with the rest of her life...
