Eight for me, but I wonder if I'm above average for Americans in that I've visited two Canadian cities (Toronto & Vancouver)... or maybe three if you count visiting the Canadian side of Niagara Falls as a kid.

I’ve also traveled more in the US than Canada. I think it’s not so uncommon to not explore your own country. We both should more. Especially as you need a vacation soon!
