Not knowing what the average Dragon Ball fan thinks of Daima is great because I think its a lovely little story and I just know Super fans absolutely hated the fact the show wasn't entirely hype moments.

the biggest sign of difference for me was the reaction to the episode with the giants. i really loved all the art and storyboarding in that episode, the atmosphere reminded me of how mystical DB's world felt when i was a kid. super fans were of course falling asleep
