The detail step involves adding chaotic blending stitches over top to make it look more like actual fur, so you won’t actually be able to see them anymore, but I felt like it’s always good to take the time to practice making them look nice!

Chaotic is the best way to stitch. Have you tried stitching with crewel wool? The texture of the wool makes fur fuzzy and is really forgiving.

My grandma used to embroidery. I loved watching her turn ordinary objects (pillow cases, etc) into pretty works of art. Each time I see one of your posts, I'm reminded of her & smile. It's like a quick visit from her. For that, I thank you. She would have loved your posts 🥰

Haha I have no clue. It was just a number I picked out when I got a manicure in New Orleans.
I found my first embroidery project pretty humbling too, but in response I went and bought a like 400 page comprehensive book on embroidery with step-by-step picture instructions
