God, I used to be like that. I'd toss and turn for potentially hours. Once I got on Progesterone, I'd be out typically within minutes of putting Mythbusters on. It's at the point where we use Mythbusters as something to fall asleep to and now I'm usually dead before we're ten minutes into the ep.

Apparently some of my issues might be related to my thyroid. Which, we're still trying to figure out the right dose for me even after a year. The CPAP ironically helps me sleep better but makes falling asleep worse too. It's a struggle!

Like if I take a piping hot shower and wrap my head in a warm towel and lay down in a dark room, the warmth will get me there pretty quick but a “right before bed” shower does not always fit in the schedule. Usually early evening and the effects have worn off by bedtime :(

Same with my man! Dude is snoring by the time I get my damn CPAP hose oriented so it doesn't choke me to death!
