Thank you! I tried to explain this on Threads and they’re like “but we should appease ‘left-leaning centrists’”. They don’t understand that would be rightwing ANYWHERE else.
I think this is intentional - lot of dem politicians rake in big oil dollars serving a blue state by riding the status quo. That’s why they rallied against Bernie and it’s why they keep AOC out of leadership positions when she is so obviously a natural leader.
