I say wait until it’s just right. He can play another season with us no sweat. He’s a professional and I bet he can play at a high level even if he’s wanting to go elsewhere. I have no idea about locker room dynamics though, I suppose that could be a real downside.

Gosh, in that case, I think we want someone else asap. Get them in for some training and preseason. I’d like to think we can wait to get just the right fit, but with Eryk gone now, who slots in at 10? Santi I guess?

Swinging and missing on a DP is a big deal. If they have targets they like, which it sounds like they do, absolutely do it ASAP. But you can’t sign a DP for the sake of it. That gets you in trouble for years if it doesn’t work out.
