The MSDos version was compiled directly on dosbox and the dos version is running on a few boards currently. When does the error occur? Does it work in local mode or does the error occur there too? Are you running your whole system inside dosbox or calling dosbox before opening?

The whole box is running under Dosbox. I tried both modes. I wonder what entry the program is waiting for, when it says ‚„00/0“ is not a valid integer‘.
At least I tried it ;)

The first thing it does on start up is try to read your drop file. I’d say there’s something wrong there, but if you run from command prompt in local mode and get the same thing then I’m not sure. The first thing you should see is it asking you for a login name.

One step further. without the Mailbox running, the game starts. from within the bbs system it hangs.

-X didn‘t change a thing.
The Problem only exist when the Bbs is running. (E.g. I can drop to DOS within the BBS and start wordle - it hangs, even if local mode is set) Without the BBS running, worlde is starting.

My guess is we are having an issue with the drop file then if it’s hanging only in door mode from your bbs. If you want you can email me a copy of your drop file.
