I actually had the chance to hear her and meet her in Louisville last year. She's great. She was actually in high school with my sister...different years and they didn't know each other, but I think it's cool. I'm happy she's in DC!!!

That's one of the reasons I privately asked them not to do this. Even if you can address DJT in person and speak truth to power, you endanger the lives now of every person who goes to the cathedral on a Sunday and the bishop and her family.

Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) interviewed Bishop Budde today. In the lead up, RM listed a number of churches/ church organisations around the country who are speaking out and listing themselves as 'sanctuary churches'. Finally - maybe - the voice of (non- Christian Nationalist) churches are being heard.
