The best fan moment in the weekend was the fan winning 100k at half time! I think we all felt that excitement and was rooting he would make it. It was truly disappointing as a whole.
I think the mini tournament makes sense, but 40 is way too low of a score. And the final needs to be greater than the semi finals. And so many ads/interuptions to the actual flow of the game. I think the tnt presentation should’ve been pregame because it just felt out of place.
I don’t think the fans got their moneys worth as a whole. It felt stale. If ASW continues, I think it needs to be condensed to one night. Skills challenge feels useless. Dunkers missed their first dunk. 3 point contest was eh. Felt sorry for Dame.
I liked the games format, but why were they interrupted six hundred and forty times? Get all of the useless TNT hosts and comedians and stuff out, focus on the ball. Expand the rosters a bit.
I can’t lie I had no interest in watching. The NBA’s decision to change the format was an overreaction to trying to connect with casual fans. Go back to the original format with the player incentives still intact.
The league lost what people come to see about the ASG: basketball. The format is interesting and presents a new look for the ASG but the execution was poor.
I saw a post of somebody keeping time of events and there was less actual basketball and more extra stuff. It was truly hard to sit through.

They had a W and kicked it out of bounds.
An utter disgrace to the game of basketball and its fans.
Third year in a row that Mac McClung is the ONLY thing worthwhile about the entire weekend. (Castle's dunks were great too this year.)
