It was made way too late, the original show ended in 2009. Which was 16 years ago. They had ample time to continue the show before the voice actors died but they didn't.

Brittney Murphy died late that year but the show ended in 2010. However they could have continued on without her or replaced her, but yeah I agree this all came too late
