Francis Collins? You must be desperate. This is a man who abandoned science and exercised a plethora of fallacies in his book, “The Language of God.” He ignores the universe, its chemistry and the physics governing it, to imagine that some kind of being began it.

While true, he has other accomplishments that are legitimately great. And frankly, yes, we are desperate in the sciences at the moment. Many Christians follow this man for his faith, and we need them on our side too. This could be a wake-up call to them that we should all support the sciences.
