i personally dont think they'll do a gamecube nso service because i think they just hate the gamecube. i just posted my thoughts because there's been a lot of buzz about gamecube on nso.

Yeah Nintendo really does seem, I don't know, embarrassed about the gamecube era? I have some conspiratorial ideas as to why that might be, but logically I just don't get what Nintendo's problem is.
that's weird because i would still consider both wind waker (especially hd) and twilight princess to be the best zelda games of the oot gameplay style. i also really like mkdd and kirby air ride, two games that i wouldnt consider to be unfinished.
i think the two notorious games of the gc era would be mario sunshine and melee. i guess the starfox games count, but afaik the biggest critiques with those games is that one isnt a starfox game and the other has on foot segments.
i never got unfinished vibes from wind waker, weirdly enough. i think that shows how good the core of that game is lmao. and imo it didnt sell well because of circumstance. the gc game didnt sell because people wanted a gritty zelda, and the wii u game didnt sell because it was on the wii u.
wind waker has 5 dungeons and a treasure hunt to make up for it. there were plans for 2-3 more dungeons but it was cut after development stalled and needed to get released

tons of nintendo games on GC are explicitly unfinished, sold very poorly, or both. twilight princess makes a ton of sense in this context
sunshine is also fairly unfinished, and super buggy even compared to sm64. and sold as much as 3d world despite twice the consoles
starfox adventures is also pretty unfinished and likely why nintendo sold rare
not to mention games that just didn’t sell at all like f-zero and starfox assault
