Makes me wonder whether fear of the future and socioeconomic status decline play a role for them in their beliefs.
Most people have seen their lifestyle going backwards, money, services, infrastructure etc. they are fed up with what’s happened and desperate for something different and opportunists like Trump & Farage thrive on this

So the tories have ironically a much bigger problem here when it comes to making their message match their voter base!
But are against ECHR....so they really only believe in better rights for their own section of humanity

Supporters affect voting choice
Self-reporting sometimes seems as reliable as a hypochondriac’s self-diagnosis.
Reform is promoting foreign interference with UK politics, hates most of the regions and people in the country, is rebelling against the authorities…
I wonder why.
Their overriding sense of patriotism, exceptionalism (of 🇬🇧 world status) & historical pedigree supersedes any cognitive thought on analysis of how the world has changed & their (🇬🇧) place in it.
They begrudge all change

Sure they may holiday abroad, but distrust other ways of life inferior. Fear of the unknown is central.
Any Party that extols these fears are openly

They are subscribers or useful idiots to undescribed/undefined policies where they have no say

They are sheep following the rhetoric of their own fears of social norms & prejudices. They won’t change by enlightenment, but only try to pass down their ‘values’ before they pop off

Am I a member of Sainsbury’s, Amazon or the local pub because I regularly give them money?
Politically inflexible and active online does not necessarily make a good campaigning machine
