Yes that's why I hesitated on that. Especially when my goggle maps gave me a waze update the other day. I was like that's not good.

I now use DuckDuckGo. Independant from Google, I deleted Google/Chrome on my mobile (cell) phone, now uses less data it’s safer and uses les MBs so saving space and battery power. Give it a try.

I also deleted Google Maps on my ipad use Maps which is good, also on my mobile (cell) phone I’ve also deleted Google Search and Chrome, now use instead DuckDuckGo which is actually much better and safer to use also uses less data and MBs so creates more space and saves on battery power.

Don't worry, I'm sure Apple will do it soon too. Tim Cook was at Trump's inauguration so he's bending the knee just as much as Google and Facebook.
