point #2 is the big one for me! taylor's a songwriter first and foremost, but she's also an incredibly smart business woman. rep tv before debut tv simply makes zero sense from a business perspective 💚🖤

I'm also not entirely sure about the first point. I'm not a native speaker, but it seems to me that getting your name back IS pretty much the same as what reputation is about? To me, ending with an album called Taylor Swift emphasizes that she changed again and again and again, but it's still her.

Sorry for the delay! I think the next album will still profit from non-fans being curious, and that would be of greater benefit to repTV, because vocally, it's her most flashy, belty album - especially recorded with her tour vocals.
