Yes. All rules/guidelines etc should be created with no religion relevance at all.
Those that choose to follow religion, fine..can adapt to suit their own lifestyle but nothing that is a choice should be forced upon the whole population

Theoretically it’s what we have. In practice however….as someone born in Franco’s Spain I can tell you that the church wielding a big amount of power is not a great idea.
