I wouldn't worry about this, spiders have been busy ✅️ and your organic matter has shrunk in size which means it is breaking down ✅️ 👌👏🌻🍅🥦🦔🥦

Thank you 😊 good job I'm not scared of spiders 😁 I don't want to disturb them, should I leave it alone for a while before using the compost?

On the big day, I usually open the lid and leave it for a bit - the light will make critters scatter. Same with tipping it all out, leave it for a bit (I leave it for couple days for worms to move down into soil). It is very much a living heap!
