Games where a character does their BNB and a CINEMATIC super only adds like, an extra 10-15% at the end and it doesnt even break 40% of a total health bar is nuts to me. All that for a drop of blood.

rage arts scaling as heavy as they do is important because of the overall large damage that generally proliferates tekken 8. We already dealt with a character that had access to a touch of death in 7, Akuma was unbelievably sloppy balance wise. they do a really nice chunk if activated raw though.

They balance it out by the fact that like. 2-5 these supers will happen in the one billion hits mega combo. Everyone is a light show. It's an anime fighter, not a "the grappler grabs you like 3 times and wins" fighter.

The flashier the cinematic / visuals the less damage it does. Some Guy [Martial Art] will do more with Slow And Kinda Strong Punch than "Galaxy obliterator decree."

Golden Tager is the gold standard for combo-ender supers, where the only reason the combo is that long is so you can actually manage to combo into it with the bomb bounce and all. And then it does 80% because damn right it does
